All children are invited to join in showing us the way to Bethlehem in the Christmas Pageant. The service is simple and easy so that ALL children can be in the Pageant that morning. No experience required. No one will be left out, there’s a costume and a place for everyone. Bring the neighbors, cousins and the camera.
ALL CHILDREN NEED TO BE AT CHURCH by 9:00 am that morning. Light morning snacks will be provided.
IF YOU CAN HELP children get into costume and practice for the pageant, please let Melanie know!

We are asking volunteers to provide meals for 80 adults and the CPCBA servers in blocks of 20. (e.g. mashed potatoes, casserole or rolls to serve 20. Look for a sign-up sheet in the Narthex.
We also need servers. All are encouraged to share the meal with the attendees. It is a wonderful experience filled with lots of stories and laughter. Come join in the fun. Thereis a role for everyone, particularly cooks and servers. Please let Lyn or Walt Robertson know if you would like to participate. (412-761-1030 or firstname.lastname@example.org).

How Can We Help?
This is the question I have been hearing from church members and community members alike following the fire that destroyed a duplex in Ben Avon.
The two individuals who have been displaced will need financial help to get settled into a new place.
If you would like to help, just bring a gift card (Visa, Target, or Giant Eagle) to the church in an envelope labeled “FIRE VICTIMS” and we will make sure that they receive them.
In addition to money, they need prayers. Let us hold them close in prayer as they recover from this tragedy. Thank you for being the Community Church of Ben Avon.
Can You Hear Me Now?
The Communications Team is looking for tech savvy individuals to join our media team. No skills are required. These areas include sound, video and online web presence. Stop by the tech booth following the service or signup on the church website on the "Get Involved" pageif interested.
