SafeChurch Meeting -- February 21 at 6:30 in Fellowship Hall
The sad fact is that 1 in 4 females and 1 in 6 males is sexually abused by the age of 18. Our church is taking action to prevent this abuse of children and to provide ways to minister to adult survivors and their spouses. We have partnered with the Samaritan Counseling Centerin Sewickley and have a team trained in SafeChurch strategies. We are in the process of implementing procedures and practices to ensure that our church is a SafeChurch for all.
You are encouraged to come learn more about what we are doing, how you and your children will see this in action and hear from Carl Baughman of Samaritan Counseling Center about ways we can respond and minister to adult survivors and their spouses.
