A new course for Adult Education and Discipleship Sept. 18 through November 13 Sundays mornings after worship from 11:45-12:45 (during middle school and high school Sunday school) Conference Room Leader: Pastor Donna Course is based on This We Believe: Eight Truths Presbyterians Affirm by Stephen Plunkett Book is not necessary, as handouts will be provided, but if you would like to have the book for additional reading, feel free to purchase a copy on your own. PER CAPITA REMINDER
If you still would like to contribute your portion ($29.10/member) of CPCBA's Per Capita Assessment, envelopes are available at the entrances to the Sanctuary or just write "PER CAPITA" on the Memo line of your check.
THE SYMPATHY of the congregation is extended to Henry Herchenroether and his family on the death of Henry's brother George. George, age 100, lived in the South Hills. Henry said that he himself is now the last of 6 cousins of his generation.
PRAYER AND BIBLE STUDY GROUP will meet on Wednesday, October 5 at 10:00 AM in the Conference Room. The Scripture passage for this week are selections from the Psalm 118:1-14 and Luke 17:11-19. All are welcome.

NEXT NEW MEMBER CLASS - SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 6
You are invited to meet with our Pastor, Rev. Dr. Donna Giver-Johnston at 9:00 AM in the Pastor's office on Sunday, November 6. The informal discussion will last one hour. If you wish to join, you will meet with Session members and have your membership confirmed on Sunday, November 13 at 9:00 AM also in the Pastor's Office. You will then be presented to the congregation and recognized at the 10:30 AM worship that day.

Tuesdays & Thursdays -- 7:00 - 9:00 PM Alcoholics Anonymous will be meeting at our church in the Youth Room on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. For more information please contact Tracey in the office at 412-761-1233.
EXERCISE CLASS AT CPCBA
We are still looking for more participants for an exercise class at CPCBA. Classes will be from1:00 - 2:00 PM, Mondays and Wednesdays starting in October with instructor Pat Pacey.
