Formula and Diaper Drive

FORMULA & DIAPER COLLECTION TO SUPPORT THE FREE MARKET AT COMMUNITY HOUSE CHURCH

Get involved in the Free Market initiative and be part of something extraordinary! Every quarter, the Community House Church located on the North Side of Pittsburgh hosts an event where they offer families in need a wide array of essential items including diapers, and formula. Since July 2023 they have served 113 households through the Free Market events representing 322 individuals with 137 of them being children.

CPCBA is rallying behind this cause by collecting diapers and formula to help support our neighbors. Our goal is ambitious: to gather 200 diapers each of sizes 5, 6, and 7, valued at $240, and 20 cans of formula, valued at $650.

Since 2019, baby formula costs have surged by 33%, and diaper prices have spiked by 40%. These essential items are now pricier than ever. Lack of access to diapers can lead to serious issues like rashes, infections, and premature potty-training.

Want to make a difference? You have two options: donate money or provide diapers and/or formula. Tags with donation amounts and specific items are available in the Narthex. Just grab a tag, fulfill the request, and return it to the church by June 1, 2024.

Together, let’s make a difference in the lives of our neighbors and ensure a successful drive that truly impacts our community for the better!
