All Saints’ Day

On this day, we celebrate All Saints’ Day, giving thanks for all of those who went before us, showing us the way of faith and hope and love. On this day, we remember their faithful lives and give thanks for their lasting legacy.

On this day, we remember the promises of our faith that inspire our living today:

See, the home of God is among mortals. God will dwell with them...God will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more, mourning and crying and pain will be no more, for the first things have passed away. (Revelation 21:3-4)

And on this day, we join our voices with all the saints in the heavenly choir, who forever sing to the glory of God and God’s eternal promises:

For all the saints, from who from their labor rest…We feebly struggle, they in glory shine. Alleluia! Alleluia!
