New Year's Prayer

It is a New Year!  

Many people are glad 2016 is over.

Many people are looking forward to 2017.

Many people are concerned about the changes that are sure to come in 2017.

How do you feel?

I received this prayer in a Christmas letter from a friend.

I offer it to you at the start of this New Year:

Goodness is stronger than evil;
Love is stronger than hate;
Light is stronger than darkness;
Life is stronger than death;
Victory is ours through God who loves us.

May it be so for this New Year and beyond.
